Hot Rod DeVille falls short of the mark

Humbucker | Hot Rod DeVille falls short of the mark I used to own a Hot Rod DeVille 410 and thought it was a good sounding amp until I dusted off my mid-seventies Twin Reverb. Whew, I forgot how good the Twin sounded, when A/B comparisons made it clear to me just how inferior (IMHO)the DeVille was. I'm kind of surprised at the frequency of posts that praise the DeVille as having a clean tone to die for, it sounds kinda boxy and flat, or is it just me? |
