Shea | Re: About that cloth wire . . SAY NO TO SUPER GLUE . Hey Tim, are you a homicide detective? I was gonna mention the fingerprinting usage too. I'm not a detective, though. I learned about it on a tour of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. This weekend I used Elmer's gel glue on my cloth insulation. That shouldn't be toxic if and when it gets heated up. Time will tell whether it holds the strands together, but it did fine while I was working. I used the glue to thoroughly cover the spot on the wire that I was about to cut, and then made my cut.
