I have one and a friend of mine had one of a different year and their not a bad clean amp, very easy on tubes, but the preamp distortion is horrible, so you have to go easy on the preamp volume. When playing metal I run a Metal Zone into and its okay, but not much better than a cheasy bandit. Definitely more for cleaner stuff. Regan
