It is best to cascade many stages rather than just a few. The Burr Brown 2134 is good and so is the NE 5534. Most of the SS guitar amps that I've worked on use a 4558 and use the TDA 2030 as a driver for the outs. TLO 072's are usually used as line drivers in the effects send and return., KB
