MG	Wood This subject has been worn out on many of the BB's, FWIW, I have to strongly disagree about the wood having that much effct on the tone of a solid body guitar. I have owned 60's , 70's and 90's Strat's, Tele's , Fernandes, original Musicman guitars and basses, etc... and they all sound different! I have had real ash body guitars that weren't that great, and the so called cheap guitars that sounded killer! EVERY piece of wood is different, and I'm not that convinced that body wood has as much effect on tone as a good neck, electronics and bridge. Heck I've played plywood cheapo guitars that SHOULDNT have sounded good, but they DID! So my opinion is to play and listen without any preconceptions of how a certain wood is supposed to sound, if you like it that is what matters!
