I like Ken a lot too, and am very glad he's on this BBS.
That said, I agree with Reid. This is an AMP BBS, we discuss amps, music and other amp related stuff.. we don't discuss race, religion, politics, sexual orientation and a host of other subjects. I'd vote that it's a good thing. If people felt a bit betrayed, perhaps that's a component.
What you have Ken is a self regulating community - tboy/big brother/whatever did not cut you off.. your post was not censored or deleted. Your voice was not silenced. You were rebuked by your community - a community of friends I would add...As such, I think that rather than point fingers back it is well to perhaps appologize to any who may feel hurt and understand that it's a small world and one person's actions affect us all. Freedom does not demand anarchy, IMHO.
As a SA at my day gig I know of many companies where people have lost their jobs for less, which I don't agree with, but it's not so much due to any "big brother" mentality, it's a "CYA" mentality before someone decides to sue the firm (which owns the email, internet connectivity, bears responsibility for content, etc) for a bazillion $ for allowing such content in, yadda yadda yadda.(read the papers) We've all made our bed on this one. Not everyone logs in from home, and we need to be thoughtfull of that. Everyone's situation is different.
Bottom line is, IMHO we should respect each other. What we have here is very special, and worth every effort to preserve. I hope you agree.
