Mark at Victoria Amplifier Co. hints that his vintage fender replicas use a 418p version. I put a pair of .1 600v ps caps in an amps phase inverter and felt the amp had too much high end crunch . Then I swapped for those yellow metalized poylester caps from AES. Same thing. But when I put those 418p's in there, the harshness smoothed out nice. sometimes I use a few ps caps up front and smooth out the end with the 418's . Dan Torres is the only one I know who sells small quantities of the 418 caps SBE also makes an axial lead polyester 192 pacer cap ,but I can find no avaliability in 600v in small quantities Tracy
