Hi  
I discovered a shorted screen cap. Too late to fire it up with the power tubes. I'll find out about the output trannie tomorrow. a good sign the fuse isn't blowing like before. What are these reverse catch diodes suppose to protect? The output tubes themselves. Would they more likely be used on fixed bias amps ?
