I pulled these 8" speakers out of a government office -- 8 "Quam" speakers. They were pretty old (late '50s maybe? I dunno.) But the customer didn't want 'em so I took 'em home. I put 4 of them in an amp that originaly had a 12" in it, and you know what? It actually sounded quite nice. Gibson used to make 4 x 8" amps. I think Magnatone may have as well.
