Bruce, this is a homebrew... the mods sound interesting (just printed them!)...I do have pins 2 & 7 connected on v1, so that I can mix dark channel w / brite channel...haven't tried a 12ay7 or other type pre-amp tube yet...cabinet is an extension 4X12 "BR-8's" equaling 8 ohms...The OT is one that I yanked from an old MOTOROLA "portable record-player"...circa 1963?...pysically its the same size as the OT that CLARK offers for the 5E3 (which BTW resides in my other homebrew 5E3)...BUT... its twice as wide!...MO BASS!!...Frank.
