That might be true, but I'm totally glad I did it.  
 
 
 
Even though I build a few homebrews before ordering  
 
Doug's upgrade board, I STILL learned quite a bit  
 
from it.  
 
 
 
The board layout is very unique from any Marshall or  
 
Fender I've seen.  
 
 
 
My latest Homebrew used some techniques I learned  
 
from the Hoffman board, and it turned out Fabulous!  
 
 
 
So, I may have spend a little extra, but I got my  
 
Money worth, learned a great deal, and had fun doing so.  
 
 
 
I don't regret it a bit. In fact, when I get some  
 
dough together, I'm going to order another one of  
 
his boards for my BFDR reissue.  
 
 
 
This time, though it would be more for time savings.  
 
Sure, I can do it myself, but this cut out a good  
 
number of hours. Time is one thing I don't have  
 
too much of anymore.....  
 
 
 
Doug's boards (and parts) are great.
