Power Transformers used as Audio Output Transformers

Power Transformers used as Audio Output Transformers I once heard that you can use a Power Transformer as an audio output transformer under certain circumstances. The idea being that a transformer will sometimes work for other applications other than what it was designed for. Has anybody ever tried this? What factors determine if this is possible?         I always seem to have extra surplus power transformers around but find that audio output transformers are more difficult to come by.             BicBogartPeas
