The tunes on the recording I made did not have the  
 
.68uF cap across the 820ohm cathode resistor on pin#3 of  
 
V2 (now they do and there's A LOT more Van Halen #1  
 
gain) >>  
 
 
 
Eddies main amp was supposedly a 1966 Plexi. These early plexis did not have this .68 cap.
