Customers listening too critically & imagining noises in repaired amps - what to call that phenomenon?
This should probably be on the joke page, but have you guys noticed that after you repair an amp, a customer trying it out is listening more intently, trying to hear EVERY LITTLE SOUND THE AMP MAKES, imagining to hear noises/sounds he claims he didn't hear before it was worked on, even though the amp is working properly after a complete repair. There ought to be a word for that. Any ideas?
