I built my own a long time ago using a plastic enclosure, an octal socket and plug and some hookup wire. I use the shunt in my meter instead of a resistor (my meter does DCI up to I think 1A or so) but the idea's the same. I put 4mm sockets on the side of the box connected to each pin plus a pair in series with the cathode - I can measure voltage on any pi just by swapping my test cables. I also put a BNC jack between the G1 and ground so I can 'scope the grid. Funny thing is I built this fancy little box and I only ever use the cathode and plate pins...
