The dirty channel is a bit harsh, but subbing some 12AU7s for the dirty channel valves helps a lot. BTW the combo is very '80s looking. Maybe find a place that'll make you a nice Vox-looking combo cab - ours has 1 12" Fane 100W spkr. IMHO not very responsive. A Vintage 30 would help a lot. Farrow http://surf.to/pharaohamps
