Using zeners to lower B+ voltage
I've caught bits and pieces of how to do this, but i'm still not sure. I have some old thordasen transformers from a bedrock combo that i'd like to use, but the PT puts out 400 V AC, and for what i'm doing i'd like to make this about 325 V AC. I plan to use this in a jtm 45 type amp. any comments or resources you could direct me to would be appreciated.
