| TC | Re: Princeton suggestions? OK Guys, I've got a few more questions. I can see why moving that PI tap up makes sense and I understand whats going on. But now, if I do as Paul suggested and remove the 1M grid resistor from the cathode tap and add a 3M3 from grid to B+, can I then remove the 1K resistor on the cathode, leaving only the 56K resistor to ground, thus matching the plate resistor of 56K. Maybe I'm too concerned about "matching" the anode and cathode as suggested in the Torres book. I guess I'm not totally clear on what is going on in a split load inverter. Thanks, TC |
