If there was enough capcitance coupling between the traces with the MV not jumpered, jumpering it won't make that go completely away. It'd be there anyway and the amp would still likely have unpleasant behavior. Some amp pureists slam PCB construction, but PCBs are not inherently bad. They are used in all sorts of highly sensitive and demanding analog and digital applications with great success, and have been for many years. Point to point wiring is not immune to the same problems hyped about PCBs -- I know that one from experience I suspect part of the problem with PCBs in some amps (and likely other equipment too) is that standard PCB design and construction practices are stretched or ignored, probably to keep costs down and designs simpler.
