HAMFEST in Boston

BIG Dave	HAMFEST in Boston I attended the HAMFEST at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. There was one guy dealing tubes. I asked what he had for 12AX7A and EL34, he responded with, "Oh, looking for tubes for a Marshall 50 watt?". He had Mullard 12ax7 tubes for $10 each and Telefunken EL34 for $35 a pair. One guy had a Marshall Lead 12 combo amp for $60. Another guy had an old tweed Gibson with a pair of 6v6, a 5Y3, and (I think) a pair of 12ax7. It had a 10" speaker and the guy wanted $260. I went home with a case for my Fluke meter for a buck and a case of Erlenmeyer Flasks for 33 cents each.
