Farrow	Re: Recommend multimeter for tube amp work Ed, how 'bout a Fluke 77"? Mine has (on the rotary sw.) Off, VAC, VDC, 300mVDC, Ohms, Diode/Cont/ Beep, ICA, IDC. To select current, you just plug the hot meter lead into one of the fused jacks - 300mA (for settign bias) or 10A for measuring current drawn by the whole amp.         Farrow     http://surf.to/pharaohamps
