It seems as if the notes jump out of the amp. I really like mine, as it suits my style of playing (thin pick, medium strings, rather soft touch). More Fender than Marshall, by far...Hope this helps. I don't regret doing it at all. BTW, the second channel of mine has a plexi-style preamp, which sounds very good with the Dumble-clone output section....
