I actually have a list of small-signal pentodes that I go hunting for at swap meets and in junk bins. 6AG5, 6AH6, 6AJ5, 6AK5, 6AK6, 6AN5, 6AU6, 6BA6, 6BC5, 6BD6, 6CE5, 6CG6, 6FD6/6ES6, 6HR6, 6HS6 -- all of these have the same pinouts (the xxx5 tubes have the suppressor internally tied to the cathode and the xxx6 don't) and I offer them as options for my pedals. I usually use 6AU6s or 6BA6s, however they all sound different... If anybody out there wants to let go of a bunch of these guys cheap, I'm buyin' Farrow http://surf.to/pharaohamps
