I just had another thought- My current favorite distortion pedal is the SIB Varidrive- not wanting to cut into their business I won't be posting any schematics but I'll say this- It has low cap values on the cathode much like the Dumble OD and some Marshalls. It sounds great with very little fartiness. I can get most plexi through jcm800 sounds with it and my Plexi Jr. JT
