Bass Cabinets

MikeZ	Bass Cabinets i am looking into the purchase of a new bass cabinet. i currently have a 70's marshall 2 by 15, and while being the epitome of cool looks (gray elephant tolex)but the poor thing bottoms out at a resonant frequency of a c or C# on my low e string. i think its the cab as opposed to the speakers, any ideas here? i play a 4 string fender j bass in a power trio type band, and alread have a 350W ampeg head. my dilemma is whether to get a 4 by 10, 1 by 15, or 1 by 18. whatever i get will be from carvin - they have unbeatable prices. i dont play slap or percussive styles that much, but i use every string and want some range to it. my only hesitation of the 4 by 10 is the low end. i like to be able to feel the bass when im playing, and stay well below the guitars frequency range. any help is greatly appreciated!!
