MikeZ | Re: PA - Mixer to Amp Level... im in acton, ma , 25 minutes from boston. maybe we should move all of our stuff (!!!) outside and see how it does out there. we are playing an outdoor show the 29th so that'll tell us something. luckily we arent expected to have vocals really for that one, so it wont be a huge deal if they arent great. (we also play a lot of surf, rockabilly and 60's stuff, so we dont always need the PA) i think im still off to daddys today to at least try out a mixing board - if nothing else at least to eliminate the problem. as far as speaker impedance, sure that makes a difference, but the amp lists as being 350W a side on 8ohm speakers...the speakers are rated i think 350W, they are definitely not maxed out. oh well...off to daddys... |
