Re: Gibson "SG" (Les Paul's ugly brother)
I just got an SG Classic [2 P-90's], and I love it. I have an Epiphone Les Paul, but it was nowhere near as comfortable to play as the SG. Too much belly [on me, not the guitar] I suspect.
I was wondering if anyone had some advice on how to put a Gibson type bridge on an Epiphone. The Epi posts are too fat to fit through the bridge, and they're not threaded. If someone knows of a stud w/ the big Epiphone threads that go into the guitar on the bottom, and the small gibson threads on top, I'd be eternally gratefull. It's starting to look like my only option is to have something turned on a lathe, or running a die down the Epi posts, but it's got gold hardware. I've called Allparts, but they were unable to help. Thanks in advance, Yossarian.
