The way to demagnitize magnets is to apply a strong alternating magnetic field with decreasing amplitude (switch on the ebow when close to the pickup, then move it away slowly). AlNiCo magnets can be demagnitized rather easily due to the small coercitive force of this material. A ceramic magnet will most likely not suffer. I would not use an Ebow with a strat. Strat pikcup magnets can be re-magnetised easily (send your pickups to a pickup manufacturer.
