Gibson/Epi Les Paul Signature electronics

Monty	Gibson/Epi Les Paul Signature electronics Does anyone know anything about what's actually inside these guitars?     They have passive low impedance pickups, and the Gibson has both low and high inpedance outputs.   The Epiphone has only high impedance output.     Are they actually low impedance, and how is the output brought up to a level that will run a normal amp?     Thanks,   Monty
