The sound is just too weird, aside from being lesser in volume. I can call Warmoth, but I know that's a dead end. There's no way I can prove one of their pieces of wood sucks. A very expensive lesson. From now on I find a guitar that sounds and plays well, and mod it from there. I'm sure not saving any money this way. John
