| Charlie | Re: String grounding So are saying that the cap allows the 60/120 Hz. noise to pass through cap and prevents any D.C. voltage to pass onto you. And the resistor puts you X amount of volts above ground to give you a warning that something is wrong. Do I have this concept correct? Why don't manufacturers offer this as a standard feature? I have never seen this on a production guitar. Charlie |
