JCS | Re: Callaham tremolo blocks Well Mark, I bought one for my Lone Star. They are very well made, I think they are milled from steel stock, where is the Fender is cast. I'm no expert, but I did notice better sustain and note definition. More apprant on clean tones. Also the Callahams are not beveled so you can't get down on the trem as far. I also put string saver saddles on this guitar, pretty happy with both. Is the block worth $45? Thats for you to deside. BTW I almost sold this guitar before the upgrades. I put 11's on it and now it's a keeper. Later Jim |
