Re: I ordered those string saver saddles!
John,

I have Graphtech saddles on all my tunamatic equiped guitars and you don't have to have a repair person groove them for you. Take the old strings of the guitar and run them back and forth on the string saddles (the wound strings) gently until approx 1/2 the string sits in the saddle - you're done. As long as none 'jump out', you're cool. I wouldn't worry much about the plain strings, but run an old 'D' string a couple times on the 'G' slot. I've done this and works great. I like what the Graphtech saddles do for the sound of Gibson guitars, although I have none on my Fender style guitars.

Good luck,

Laurence
