Strat mod: Whats it doing acting like this? Hi everybody,     I need help!     Heres the thing I tried with my strato...     " target="_blank">http://www.stewmac.com/06_wrg_11.htm"> Stew-mac strat mod     Its the one to turn on the bridge pup in positions 5 and 4 to have all pups on or just the neck and bridge.     Anyway, i just did it, and Theres a difference, but barely, especially in the "all on" position. Theres also an apparent volume drop when the bridge is selected with just the neck.     My deductions:   -I know the bridge is on because it pops when i hit the pole pieces.   -The solder joints are not cold joints, the are nice and shiney and covering the conections.     Possible problems from my limited experience point of view:     -I used a small DPDT from radio shack(yeah, i know...) that has a center off position.     -I'm absoloutely sure I didnt overheat anything, nothing felt hot to the touch, even after I just soldered something in place. It was quick and smooth operation.     -Maybe the mod is supposed to be subtle, or that my bridge pickup is just a bad seed?     Please, any help would be grand!   Thanks alot everyone!     BC
