But I have a guitar with a The Point tremolo that does have a seperate block. The block is made from cast zinc alloy, but it looks like it's compatible with a replacement steel block. I'm pretty happy with the tremolo as it is. It is a very high quality piece of hardware, and the guitar sustains well, stays in tune, and sounds good.
