Besides, I find it difficult to support (by giving business to) someone who does such dirty deeds to innocent amps.  

 
 
Given your position I certainly understand this. However, if the price really is that good, you can maybe rationalize it such that (deep discounts aside) less profit goes into Torres' bank account and therefore less funding available to support "hack-mods". ;)  
 
I have Muy Grande p/ups in my Tokai Strat. They are killer and are worth every penny IMO. Being a P-90 fan I can only imagine what the Rio Grande take on these sounds like. I have Kent Armstrong P-90s in a Reverend Slingshot and they are very good. The Tom Anderson P-90s (dunno who makes them, maybe TA themselves?) are hotter and more lively than the Armstrongs which makes them fun. I think the Armstrongs are somewhat more "refined" and balanced sounding.
