I am just repeating what I read about the HD 5 way switch, I agree that with a conventional Strat 5 way, you would have to have the tone controls affecting the switch. I guess maybe it is either the Megaswitch or the Yamaha superswitch which has all kinds of possible wiring options. I'm getting ready to put a project Strat together , at the moment my plans are 5 way switch, master volume, tone for the neck pu, (maybe a push pull pot to add the bridge pu in for the neck bridge or all 3 combinations), TBX tone control for the middle/bridge pu. Or TBX master tone control and a blend pot where the 2nd tone would be to add the bridge pu in. Later!
