Doc	Re: Talman pick guard Although WD's prices are a bit high for aftermarket parts, they do offer a rather complete selection of pickguard styles & colors. Standard shape pickguards (like strat & tele) are stock items, but they will cut a new pickguard for any custom guitar, or less popular production model. What they require is a paper outline tracing of the pickguard, including location of all pickup cutouts, screw holes and switch slots you want them to provide. I had a replacement matte black pickguard made for an Ibanez Roadstar II, and was pleased with it. I had to do some minor filing around the neck pocket to get it to fit just right and have the mounting holes all line up. Check their website.
