I had heard the Fender strat nioseless pickups they were noiseless. I installed the tele pickups they sound ok but they still had/have a low level hum. The tele is wired and shielded correct(single point gnd, short twisted pair wire) the music store I go to recieved some noiseless tele guitars in and when I went to test them They have a low level hum. This is a mystery to me I think it has something to do with the metal neck pickup cover and the steel bridge plate?? any Thoughts??? I checked the coils R the two coils match in R I did not test the Inductance. I am using 500k cts pots sounded better than 250k cts 100pf on vol .01uf on tone. I would like to hear about Kinman pickups as well.
