I agree completely, I have two AVn-56 in mid and neck position and they sparkle!  
They sound better than the DiMarzio Virtual Vintage,  
which sound a little dull.  
Unlike most other stacked single coils (Seymour Duncan)  
they are crisp *and* have high output *and moreover* have  
reduced string pull.
