The post spacing is 2-29/32, same as a Gibson Tune-O-Matic. Unfortunately, the Schaller bushings are not interchangable with Gibson hardware. They are bigger than the Gibson thumbwheel post that screws directly into the wood, and smaller than the bushing for the large, threaded post.  
 
If you don't mind drilling out the small post holes, then it is pretty easy to install. But if the existing holes are too big, you'll need to fill them with dowels and re-drill. That's what I had to do when I replaced my Jazzmaster's bridge with the Schaller.
