Don | Re: Yamaha 4 pole 5 position switch I used one of these switches on my dual-humbucking equipped McInturff to get the following pu combinations: 1.) Neck humbucker 2.) Neck and Bridge humbuckers, parallel, in phase 3.) " " " " , " , out of phase 4.) Bridge split, the coil closest to the bridge is on 5.) Bridge humbucker I prefer this arrangement over the stock switching setup, which used the Megaswitch, PRS selections. Also, I haven't noticed that the switch is any noisier than the one I replaced. This Yamaha switch is pretty cool, IMHO, and it offers many, many possibilities. Cheers, Don |
