...I bought a set over the weekend. Hopefully by next weekend I'll have them mounted and "ear-tested".  
 
 
 
I demoed the pickups in an American Strat and they sounded pretty good. Although I seemed to detect a bit of "position 2 and 4" tone in all switch settings. The highs were still there which was a major concern.
