SSL-1s are vintage staggered Strat with AlNiCo5 magnets?  
 
 
 
Which type of Kinmans do you have?  
 
 
 
Did you compare the volume of the pickups when one of each  
 
(Duncan, Kinman) were in the guitar at the same time?  
 
 
 
What about the sound?
