charlie	Re: To Refin or Not to Refin it will technically be useable within hours, but I usually let it go a day or two it may not be much better than oil alone against long term stain problems - I think only a "thick" finish will do that - but it's a nice looking and feeling dress, especially for rosewood/other unfinished fingerboards note: won't work that well on teak or other oily woods that don't soak it up
