No problem when experimenting on the bench, with several regulated variable power supplies available. To date, the one I've built as an integrated guitar amp has a pair of 6V6's parallelled to a pair of 6AV5's, running thru a PA output tranny with multiple secondaries...for me, worth the effort as a design exercise, but I'm probably not accomplishing much more than if I were to convert a Twin Reverb to use 6V6's parallelled to 6L6's.. cya Jon
