| previous: Liam Re: Vox AC-30 top boost - 1964 copper/candy control panel and 1965 grey control panel is there a difference electronically ? -- 10/9/2000 9:13 AM |
| Michael | A clarification of my question ?? :-) As Liam has stated there are candy colored top boost models WITHOUT the added on top boost they were made WITH the top boost on the top control panel there were less than 100 of these made they were made in 1964 ( some had blue speakers and some had silver speakers ) just before vox changed over to the grey panel and all silver speakers for a difference see www.ampheaven.com go to the vox page and click on 1964 vox - it's there so you can see the diffrence. I was not enquiring about the early 60 models with the added top boost I just wanted to know if the transformers were the same, as well as the electronics I have heard some people who have said they are the same and others that say they are different. I was looking to buy one and was a little confused. Well If anyone can answer that would be great. I have heard that they are the same and also that they are different - sooo :0( If anyone can answer this that would be great ! Michael |
