Re: Convert to 3 Prong-is it easy 2 do?
Conversion to 3 prong cords is a good starter project. But be wary of hazards such as filter caps, which can hold high voltages, even after the amp has been shut off for a while.

Also, what looks like a simple procedure can become a pain in the arse if you do not have the right tools...I learned the hard way.
For example my first conversion went very well. But my second involved drilling the chassis to accept a thicker guage cable and a larger strain relief. This is a real bitch to do with an undersized drill bit!!!

Take note of the wiring to ensure that is phased (wired) correctly, and decide whether you want to either solder the ground directly to the chassis, or connect it to a washer, etc and bolt it down to something (usu. a tranny bolt)...

Also, ask questions at Ampage as they arise...
I am sure most of us here have experience in this area!
