| Winnie Thomas | Re: Change to 3 prong on old amp George, I too thought this was a smmiple exersize at first but there are some things to do in order to do it correctly. First, there are three colored wires in the three prong lead. A green one (Ground) a Black one (Hot) and a white one (Neutral) The black one shoud go to the switch first, then to the fuse. The white on should go to one of the two black leads of the Power Transformer. The other Black lead from the power transformer should go the the other side of the fuse. The green one should be firmly grounded as near to where it enters the chassis as possible. Winnie |
