I connected the leads directly from the speaker to the amp (the leads I also replaced with thicker gauge speaker wire). What is a triac? What is relay overload? The clicking sound comes from the head, I think. It's hard to tell for sure. I have noticed that the problem is not as likely to occur (though it still does) if the head is not sitting on the speaker. Does any of this help?
